I am a 25+ year educator and have worked and taught in a variety of school settings. Since the 1999-2000 school year, I have been working as a program specialist in our district research office (Accountability and Educational Technology). I enjoy working with data and using it to develop reports and analysis to support the students, staff and programs within SBCUSD. I appreciate the challenge of turning data into a story worth hearing.

Several years ago, I became interested in the spatial aspect of data and have since earned a MS in Geographic Information Science and Technology. GIS has incredible potential as a tool for analysis and understanding in the education arena. My personal goal is to raise awareness about using GIS in educational research and reporting.
