Emy Flores is an accomplished Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services with the Fullerton School District in California. Emy is best known for successfully deploying a successful school-wide 1:1 iPad initiative and for her leadership experience as school principal at Valencia Park Elementary, a Title I school in Fullerton, California. Under her leadership, Valencia Park was honored as an Apple Distinguished Program school since 2011, a Title I Academic Achievement School, and a 2012 Golden Bell winner. Emy is credited for turning an underachieving school in Program Improvement Year IV into a nationally recognized school for its innovative educational programs using technology to increase student learning and achievement. In three years, Emy created a positive school culture, restructured professional development and increased accountability resulting in a transformation of teaching and learning. During the last year, Emy successfully deployed the Visible Innovation Program, Fullerton's 1:1 iPad initiative. Emy has been featured on leadership instructional webcasts and presented to delegates and school leaders on leadership, school improvement, technology integration, and extended school learning. She has also been an Apple keynote speaker presenter in California, Washington State, Oregon, Boise, Nevada, Texas and Arizona.
