Ka’ri Nelsen started working in SBCUSD in 1992 at Shandin Hills Middle school as a moderate/severe teacher. Previously, She worked at a Non Public School for ED students for 5 years. After 15 years in the classroom, She transitioned to the district office in 2007 as a moderate/severe teacher support and continue this position currently. Ka'ri is one of the authors and trainers of our Basics3 framework curriculum for our mod/severe students. Guiding, teaching and empowering other teachers is one of her many joys.
