Jill Catlin has worked in the field of Education for over 30 years. Jill began her career for SBCUSD at Emmerton ES as a 6th grade teacher and also worked as a Special Education teacher at various schools in the District. She holds teaching credentials in Special Education, Adaptive PE, Multi-Subjects, as well as a Pupil Personnel Services Credential for School Counseling. After teaching for 12 years, she transitioned to working as a school counselor for numerous schools: including the Alternative Learning Center, Bradley ES, Newmark ES, Kendall ES, Carmack, Harmon, and Rio Vista ES. Jill is also a lead for our District Crisis team and has been was a part of the genesis of the Crisis team origins, with a passion for helping people deal with trauma. She has been licensed as am a Marriage and Family Therapist since 1989 and has a passion for helping people deal with trauma. As a LMFT for the HEART Team, Jill wants to help students become the best they can be.
