Felicity Mendoza is an experienced Special Education teacher with over 25 years of teaching experience. Throughout her career, she has taught in a variety of settings including Special Day Class (SDC), Resource Specialist Program (RSP), and Home and Hospital. In addition to her teaching experience, Felicity has also coached and mentored new teachers.

Currently, Felicity serves as the Structured Literacy Lead, where she focuses on dyslexia tier 2 and 3 reading interventions such as Mindplay, Orton Gillingham, and PRIDE Reading. Her expertise in this area has been instrumental in supporting students and teachers in K-8 settings.

Felicity holds a Master's Degree in Human Behavior, which has provided her with a deeper understanding of the complexities of Special Education and allowed her to support students with a wide range of needs. She uses her extensive knowledge to contribute to ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education for all students.

Felicity's dedication to the field of Special Education is evident in her extensive experience and her ongoing commitment to learning and growth. Her passion for supporting students with disabilities and her ability to provide effective interventions have made her an invaluable member of the educational community.
