High School Counselor, San Bernardino City Unified School District
I light up when people connect--to new ideas, to an apt metaphor, to opportunities, and best of all to other people. Lucky for me, I have a job that's hugely about nurturing connections between students and all of these. I taught Spanish for 11 years and then became a school counselor in 2006, which I suspect I could happily do till death do us part.
